The tour starts with a visit to Munnar, known for the expansive tea plantation, lush green mountains, lakes, reservoirs and forests which are sure to charm you by its natural beauty. Then we come across Thekkady famous for Spice Plantation and Periyar National Park followed by the backwater in Kumarakom & Alleppey.
Stay then extends to the beautiful waters of Arabian Sea at Kovalam. Come take the journey of your lifetime.
Day 1
Cochin & Munnar (135 Km / 4hr)
Meet & Greet by a Sahapathika Representative once you arrive at Cochin Airport. Get into your waiting Car and move to Munnar and on the way you can savour splendid views of tea plantations and small towns, looking beautiful with the backdrop of picturesque lush surrounding. You visit the Cheyyappara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls Enroute. You will also be taken to Adimali and Pallivasal the traditional Spice garden and market. After arriving in Munnar town, you can check in your hotel, relax and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 2
Sightseeing at Munnar
Second day in Munnar begins with breakfast after which you proceed for sightseeing. The first destination is fabulous Mattupetty Dam which offers splendid views of gushing waters. You can enjoy (optional) boat drive here followed by Echo point, well renowned for natural echo phenomenon, the famous Shooting Point where film shootings are organized and the Kundala Lake offering Shikara boating is included in itinerary. Post lunch sightseeing continues which include a visit to the Blossom Park, Mattupetty Dam and Pothamedu View Point. Following this, sightseeing ends and you can get back to your hotel and relax. Overnight In Munnar.
Day 3
Munnar-Thekkady (110 km, 3 hrs)
Voyage from Munnar to Thekkady begins in the morning, allowing you to visit various splendid attractions on the way, like Pooppara, Vandanmedu, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Ankara. Following this, you can check in the hotel on reaching Thekkady. After relaxing for a while you can indulge in exhilarating optional activities, such as elephant safari, Kalari Payette -a traditional martial art form, Kathakali show, Jungle Jeep safari, Ayurveda massage, plantation visit and boating in Periyar. You are then taken back to the hotel where you can enjoy overnight stay.
Day 4
Thekkady & Alleppey Houseboat (145 km, 3 hrs)
After a lovely breakfast drive from Thekkady to Alleppey for Houseboat cruise, which takes you through inland waterways and breathtaking backwaters of Alleppey. There you can enjoy an overnight stay on the houseboat. One you arrive you would be greeted with non-alcoholic welcome drink. Following this, cruise begins, taking through backwaters. Cruise stops in the evening and you can enjoy evening walk in the village. Sightseeing ends at night and you can relax in your A/C rooms.
Day 5
Alleppey – Kumarakom ( 35 km , 45 Min)
Post breakfast, Drive from Alleppey to Kumarakom. Upon arrival check into your hotel. Afternoon you may cruise in a houseboat and visit the Vembanad Lake. Also visit the world famous bird sanctuary which is home to a number of migratory birds. Evening time sit in your balcony and enjoy the scenery of backwaters. Night in Kumarakom.
Day 6
Kumarakom & Kovalam (175 Km, 4 hrs)
After a sumptuous breakfast check out of your hotel and drive to Kovalam. In Trivandrum visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple-World’s Richest Hindu Temple. Check in the hotel on arrival at Kovalam and relax for a while. You can then proceed with sightseeing activities. Enjoy visit to Kovalam beach and other alluring coastal areas that proffer amazing views of lush green surroundings. Underwater scenery visible during snorkeling is also worth witnessing. After such an exciting trip you will be transferred back to the hotel where you can relax and stay overnight.
Day 7
Kovalam
Today wake up with a cup coffee cup by your side and first rays of the sun greeting you. Spend the morning in the beautiful blue waters of Kovalam observing the beautiful view of the rising sun. Whole day at your own leisure which you can spend on the 3 beaches of Kovalam. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 8
Kovalam-Trivandrum/Cochin Drop
Today wake up with a cup coffee cup by your side and first rays of the sun greeting you. Later on move to World’s Richest Temple- Padmanabhaswamy temple. Later on you shall be dropped at Trivandrum Airport. You’re happy Tour Concludes with Unlimited Memories from Sahapathika.
